Michael Ramsden - Director

Mr. Ramsden is a qualified lawyer with more than 20 years experience in the corporate finance industry.
He has been extensively involved in investment banking and insurance, including corporate advisory, fixed income, futures trading, cross border transactions, foreign exchange and funds management in the United Kingdom and Australia. Mr Ramsden’s skill base includes equity raising, funds management and general corporate advice. Mr Ramsden is also a founding director of Terrain Capital AFSL number 240276 and previous director of D & D Tolhurst (stockbrokers) and executive chairman of the listed Terrain Australia Limited. He is currently Chairman of Lowell Capital Ltd & African Mahogany (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Steven Hoban - Director

Mr. Hoban [LLB, BA, ASIA Dip] is a highly qualified and experienced executive director and senior manager with some 25 years in international trade and export, with blue chip companies such as ICI and Bowater PLC.
He has worked in Singapore and Hong Kong developing businesses and managing turnarounds, delivering strong sales and marketing results. More recently he headed the export activities for Pentarch Forest Products, the largest log exporter in Australia and built up sales strongly into China and Indonesia and SE Asia worth well over $100m through a strong customer network. He was also appointed as an Australian director to Plantation Tropical Timbers in 2008 a subsidiary of GMO Boston USA.

Simon Penfold - Director

Mr. Penfold has over 30 years of experience in the Australian forestry industry and has extensive experience in executive management and all operational facets of developing, maintaining, harvesting and exporting plantations.
Simon is currently with Willmott Forests Ltd as their Marketing & Logistics Manager. Prior to joining Willmott Forests, Simon worked for numerous forestry companies including, Hancock Victorian Plantations Pty Ltd, Victorian Plantations Corporation & the Department of Conservation & Land Management (WA). Simon is a member of numerous professional associations including the Institute of Foresters of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Scholastically, Simon has completed a Diploma of Forestry, Bachelor of Forestry Science and a Masters of Business Administration.

Gordon Coward - Project Manager

Mr Coward has been involved rural agricultural management for 23 years. Initially this involved property development in central Queensland and moving to the Ord River system 18 years ago. There he was a key supervisor in African mahogany and sandalwood plantations. For the last three years he has been the regional project manager for African Mahogany Australia Pty Ltd.
