African Mahogany (Australia) Pty Ltd (AMA) is the largest plantation manager of high value African Mahogany trees in Australia,
with estates that will soon reach over 10000ha located in the Top End.

AMA acts on behalf of Global Investment funds and major forestry companies. AMA manage some 70,000 acres with some two thirds of the land area set aside as native bushland, and the balance for tree growing, hay and cattle production.

AMA has a joint venture for research and development to deliver better genetics and nutrition for improved plantation growth.

The high value African Mahogany Timber has been one of the most recognized, versatile and valued timber for several centuries. It is destined for the nearby export markets of Asia & India and other markets. The sustainable and well managed resource is intended to replace the depleting hardwoods from illegal logging from rainforests in Asia.
The Light and Dark Mahogany is primarily used in making high value furniture.
